Central High School lifts precautionary soft lockdown
Central High School students and faculty were placed on a precautionary soft lockdown Wednesday afternoon.
Carol Underwood, the public relations specialist of Phenix City Schools, says there was an armed robbery at a nearby store which prompted the precautionary soft lockdown.
Parents were notified of the lockdown and then again when it was lifted at 2:48 P.M. We are working to confirm more details on the armed robbery.
This remains a developing story.
