18-year-old found dead after shooting on Glenview Dr. in Columbus
Columbus police are investigating an early Thursday morning homicide which has left a teenager dead.
The investigation is taking place on Glenview Drive off of Amber Drive. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says the victim, who is identified as 18-year-old Derrick Jackson, was pronounced dead on scene at 9:20 A.M. Jackson suffered multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Investigators with the Crime Scene Investigations Division and Violent Crimes Unit are on the scene. This remains a developing story.
