Opelika authorities continue to work overturned 18-wheeler crash that happened this morning on I-85
Opelika emergency responders were dispatched to Interstate 85 past Mile Marker 66 involving an 18-wheeler that was overturned around 6:47 AM central time Saturday morning.
We understand a heavy duty wrecker was also called in to retrieve the 18-wheeler, which was transporting a large load, from the ditch. Traffic is backed up but no road closures have been reported.
Injuries involved in the crash are unknown. The scene is still fluid with authorities on scene.
