Phenix City Fire Department on scene of 20th St. fire
Phenix City Fire Department crews are on the scene of a structure fire Sunday afternoon.
The fire occurred on 20th Street near Auburn Road in the city. Law enforcement officials with Phenix City Police Department and Russell County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene, along with medics from CARE Ambulance.
A large plume of smoke was seen from miles away, multiple viewers reported. It’s unclear if anyone was injured. This remains a developing story.
