Russell County Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting in Fort Mitchell subdivision
A shooting investigation is underway Monday evening in the Fort Mitchell community of Russell County.
The investigation is taking place in the Village at WestGate subdivision off of Alabama Highway 165. We understand injuries were reported.
Viewers reported hearing several gunshots and shortly thereafter saw law enforcement. We understand Fort Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department and CARE Ambulance were called to the scene.
