One dead, another critical in Columbus shooting on Schaul Street
One person has died and another is injured after a shooting in Columbus Saturday afternoon.
The shooting occurred near Schaul Street and Ada Avenue. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms a female victim, later identified as 32-year-old Shantavia Rubyann Walden was pronounced deceased at 2:10 P.M. on the scene. Her family has been notified.
The second victim is in critical condition at Piedmont Columbus Regional Emergency Room. Violent Crimes Unit is on scene.
