Female killed after being struck by train in Chambers County
Chambers County deputies are investigating after a female was struck and killed by a train.
Deputies found the female deceased after they were dispatched to the Cusseta community in reference to a female being struck by a train.
“The female has not been identified at this time,” law enforcement said. “Chambers County Sheriff’s Office investigators are on scene and awaiting the arrival of investigators from CSX Railroad.”
Everyone is asked to stay out of the area until the investigation is completed. This remains a developing story.
