Two women shot, one killed, in LaGrange Wednesday night
A late Wednesday night shooting at a LaGrange apartment complex is under investigation.
Officers rushed to the scene and found two women injured, one with a gunshot wound to the chest, and another with a wound to their arm, on May 1, 2024, shortly after 9 P.M. in the 600 block of Borton Street near Apartment A.
LaGrange police said Ambreia Davison, the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest, was transported to Well Star West Georgia Hospital and was pronounced deceased. The second victim was transported to a Columbus area trauma center for treatment.
“The initial investigation determined that unknown suspects fired multiple rounds which struck the home and the two victims,” police said.
