Man struck, killed by vehicle on busy LaGrange roadway
LaGrange police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a vehicle on New Franklin Road Sunday night.
Police responded to the scene shortly before 10 P.M. on May 5, 2024, in the area of 400 Block of New Franklin Road and located a person struck by a vehicle.
The person, later identified as 55-year-old Timothy Waddell, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The LaGrange Police Department Traffic Unit responded and began an investigation.
“Officers determined that an unknown vehicle struck Waddell and left the scene,” police said. The driver of the vehicle is unknown at this time.
