Overnight fire at Moon Road shopping plaza leaves extensive damage
Columbus firefighters had a busy night battling a structure fire at Moon Road shopping plaza, where Columbus Corner Bakery is located.
The fire left extensive smoke damage to Columbus Corner Bakery. In a social media post, the owners of the bakery said, “all cakes, baked goods, and unbaked inventory are all damaged. Unfortunately, if you are scheduled to pick up an order, we will be unable to fill that order this weekend.”
“In just a bit, we will begin calling all of our customers with scheduled pickups today, and into this next week. Please be patient with us as we work through the long list of phone calls and refunds to process,” the owners of the bakery added. “If you do not receive a phone call from one of our team members by 11:00 AM, send an email to the following email address: [email protected].”
It is unclear at this time how the fire started. No injuries were reported. Picture courtesy of Columbus Corner Bakery.
