Pedestrian struck, killed in Eufaula
A deadly pedestrian versus car collision is under investigation by Eufaula police.
The collision occurred on May 18, , 2024, at approximately 8:30 P.M. near the 600 block of Highway 30.
Police said Samuel Derrell Marion was struck by a moving vehicle and was pronounced dead after EMS tried to perform CPR. The driver was uninjured but was transported to Medical Center Barbour for drug/alcohol screening.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Eufaula Police Department are still conducting an investigation.
