Box truck versus train crash reported in Smiths Station
Lee County first responders are on the scene of a collision involving a train Wednesday afternoon.
The collision which involved a train and a box truck occurred on Lee Road 939. One person was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
EAMC ETS, Lee County Emergency Management Agency, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and Smiths Station Fire and Rescue are on the scene.
