The two children, identified as 2-year-old Kahlani Baggage and 5-month-old Isaiah Atkins, were last seen in the 800 Block of Zellars Court in Auburn, Alabama on December 4, 2023. At the time of the initial report by Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the children were believed to be in the care of their mother, 20-year-old Lilliana Olivia Atkins.
A Lee County Judge had issued a juvenile pickup order for the 2 children back in December of 2023.
Today, eight months later, the sheriff’s office located the children with the mother at an address on Lee Road 147. Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones said the children are safe and with their mother.
“The judge is issuing an order for the children to stay with their mother,” Jones added. “the judge’s order allows mom custody pending court date.”
