Eufaula City Schools close tomorrow after receiving threat of violence
Eufaula City Schools has decided to close all schools tomorrow.
This comes after they received a threat of violence this evening targeting the high school tomorrow.
“Due to this threat, ECS has decided to cancel all schools and after-school and extracurricular activities tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 5.,” the district said. “Students and staff will not report to school on Thursday, Sept. 5, but all administrators are expected to report as normal.”
The Lakeside School is also closed for tomorrow.
Officers remain investigating.
