Former CACC veterinarian arrested in investigation
Columbus police have arrested a second person in connection to a lengthy investigation of the Columbus Animal Care and Control center.
Jail records have confirmed the former Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Henry J. (Hank) Hall, was booked into the Muscogee County Jail and charged with forgery and false statements and writings. He was booked into the jail shortly after 2:30 P.M. on September 30, 2024.
He is the second employee of the center to be arrested today in connection to the investigation. Earlier, an animal control officer was arrested and charged with similar offenses.
Councilwoman Toyia Tucker, in a social media post, confirmed “the investigation is nearing completion and some employees have already been notified that various misdemeanor and felony charges are being brought against them.”
This remains a developing story.
