Overnight deadly crash reported in east Columbus
Columbus police are investigating a deadly motor vehicle collision overnight.
The collision occurred on Macon Road near Reese Road just after 2 A.M. on Sunday, October 13, 2024. CNAW2News.com is being told the crash only involved one vehicle. The vehicle caught on fire following the crash.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed the only occupant in the vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Christopher Ryan Gray, was pronounced deceased on scene from blunt force trauma to chest and head. Gray was a Hamilton, GA resident. His family has been notified.
The Motor Squad with the Columbus Police Department is investigating. This is a developing story.
