Man arrested in deadly pedestrian crash
Columbus police have made an arrest in a deadly pedestrian crash.
The hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian occurred on October 27, 2024, around 1:29 a.m., on Victory Drive near Benning Road.
The pedestrian, identified as Anthony Hughley, was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Motor Squad took lead on the investigation, which led to identifying and arresting the suspect, Adonis Cooley, on October 28, 2024. Cooley is charged with Homicide by Vehicle (1st Degree), Hit & Run, and other traffic-related charges
This case remains under investigation.
