Teen killed after Columbus chase ends with PIT maneuver
A late Wednesday night chase in Upatoi has left one teen dead.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said the deadly accident occurred when a Georgia State Patrol trooper performed a PIT maneuver on a vehicle during a chase. The accident occurred on GA-22 near Mile Marker 14 around 11:20 P.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
Bryan confirmed 18-year-old Kamari Gamble, of Talbotton, Georgia, was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional and pronounced dead at 11:43 P.M.
This is an ongoing investigation.
