Crash with large fluid spill leaves HWY 280 in Smiths Station blocked

Original story: A motor vehicle crash in Smiths Station has left parts of Highway 280 blocked.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 280 at Lee Road 430 are impassible due to a crash with a large fluid spill, Lee County Emergency Management Agency says.
Smiths Station Fire Protection District, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, EAMC ETS, and Lee County Emergency Management Agency units are on scene working the accident and containing the spill.
A detour is established using Lee Road 430.
