Teen hit by vehicle in Opelika neighborhood
Opelika police has confirmed a teenager was struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
The teen was struck by a vehicle around 3:50 P.M. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 near the intersection of Samford Avenue and Court Street. The teen was alert before being transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional for treatment. The teen’s current condition is unknown at this time.
We are being told the vehicle did remain on scene. This remains a developing story.
