Large brush fire reported on HWY 80 West in Russell County
Several fire departments are on the scene of a large brush fire Thursday afternoon.
The fire is taking place at 5078 U.S. Highway 80 West in the Dixie community of Russell County.
The westbound lane is blocked until further notice. Beauregard, Dixie, and Crawford fire departments are on the scene, along with Russell County Sheriff’s Office.
If driving in the area, you are asked to take an alternate route.
