Toddler killed after being struck by vehicle in Lanett
Lanett police are investigating after a toddler was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the 600 block of North 14th Avenue around 6 P.M. on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
A 17-month-old male child was struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived at the scene, the toddler was found with serious injuries and was transported by Lanett EMS to Lanier Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Lanett Police Department is actively investigating this incident.
