Suspects face total of 96 charges after Columbus search warrant
A Columbus search warrant has left to 96 criminal charges being filed and the arrest of nine men.

Police say they executed a search warrant on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in the 7000 block of Sorrel Court.
“[The warrant] resulting in the arrest of nine documented gang members,” police said. The suspects face a total of 96 criminal charges related to drugs, firearms, and other offenses.
During the operation, officers seized $1,113 in currency, 1,626.5 grams (3.52 pounds) of marijuana, with a street value of $16,265, and 10 firearms, two which were stolen.

19-year-old Tyquis Brown was charged with six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, two counts of a theft by receiving stolen property – firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, and possession of drug related objects.

20-year-old Braxton Deriso was charged with six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, two counts of a theft by receiving stolen property – firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, and possession of drug related objects.

21-year-old Philip McClinton was charged with six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, two counts of a theft by receiving stolen property – firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug related objects, and warrant for felony violation of probation.

17-year-old Jalien Sanabria was charged with six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, two counts of a theft by receiving stolen property – firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug related objects, possession of a pistol under 18 years of age, and a warrant for pointing a pistol at another.

22-year-old Antonio Shaw was charged with six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, two counts of a theft by receiving stolen property – firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, and possession of drug related objects.

21-year-old Jarquiz Williams was charged with six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, two counts of a theft by receiving stolen property – firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, and possession of drug related objects.
“The Columbus Police Department remains committed to dismantling criminal organizations and ensuring the safety of the community,” police added.
Police ask anyone with information regarding gang activity are urged to call 911.
