The investigation began shortly after 5 P.M. along Panama City Beach Parkway at Sunnyside Apartments after two female victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds. The females were later pronounced dead.
Officers with Panama City Beach Police Department and other agencies began searching for the suspects and after gathering witness statements, surveillance footage, and investigative efforts, 26-year-old Milan Prince Michele McKelvey, of Panama City Beach, was identified as the primary suspect. McKelvey fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
“Investigators also confirmed that Milan McKelvey had a prior history of domestic violence involving one of the victims,” police said. “On March 12, 2025, Panama City Beach Patrol Officers arrested McKelvey for domestic violence by strangulation and tampering with a victim. McKelvey was booked into the Bay County Jail and, on March 13, 2025, was issued a no-contact order and released on bond.”
During the investigation, law enforcement officers located McKelvey’s vehicle being driven by his stepfather, 46-year-old Marwan Gordon of Panama City, in Walton County, Florida.

Both were apprehended in Montgomery County, Alabama, three hours away from the scene, by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Milan McKelvey has been charged with two open counts of murder, and Tangela McKelvey has been charged as an accessory to capital murder.
According to the police, the investigation is active and ongoing with multiple law enforcement agencies involved.
