Auburn man identified as deceased victim in fiery Loachapoka crash earlier this month
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has released details in a deadly and fiery single-vehicle crash earlier this month.
The crash which involved a 1982 Ford F-150 occurred at approximately 9:06 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, on Lee Road 61 near Lee Road 2149.
ALEA says 65-year-old Tommy D. Hobson, of Auburn, was fatally injured when the 1982 Ford F-150 he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and a tree before becoming engulfed in flames. Hobson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
