Winter Weather Advisory issued for East Alabama; here’s what to expect
A winter weather advisory has been issued for all of our east Alabama counties in the Chattahoochee Valley region. The advisory is in place till 3PM central time. Wet snow will occur with total snow accumulations of up to one quarter inch is possible. The National Weather Service in Birmingham says citizens need to plan on slippery road conditions and please slow down and use caution while traveling.
