High speed chase goes through Muscogee, Harris, and Troup counties
A high speed chase is ongoing in our west Georgia counties.
The chase came from Columbus on Interstate 185 northbound. The chase then entered Harris County and turned onto County Road 315 and got lost near County Road 219. The chase was then again spotted by authorities and Harris County officials chased them into Troup County.
Scanner reports suggest speeds were at 140 MPH at one time. The vehicle being chased is a Dodge Charger.
Georgia State Patrol helicopter is following the chase from above.
