Pedestrian deceased after being struck by vehicle on Veterans Parkway near 51st Street in Columbus
A 19-year-old Guatemalan man is deceased after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Veterans Parkway and 51st Street.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed 19-year-old Vicente Perez was pronounced deceased on the scene at 3:07 AM due to multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The family has been notified. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan added, “He is from Guatemala but he and his brother live here now.”
An investigation by Columbus Police Motor Squad is continuing.
