Southern Company contractor falls into confined space at Plant Franklin in Lee County
A contractor for Southern Company is being treated at a nearby medical facility after falling into a confined space at Plant Franklin which is off of Lee Road 379 in eastern Lee County, Smiths Station Fire and Rescue Deputy Fire Chief Daniel Sexton confirmed to CNAW News 2 Wednesday afternoon. The man’s condition is unknown, but Sexton did confirm, “the man had no life threatening injuries.”
