Three family members found shot and killed at Grantville shooting range
Shocking news hit the community of Coweta County after three family members were found shot and killed at the Lock, Stock, and Barrel shooting range in Grantville.
The family members, identified as 75-year-old Tommy Hawk – the gun range owner, his wife Evelyn, and his 19-year-old grandson named Luke, were all shot during a robbery at the shooting range around 5:30-6:00 PM on Friday. Officers with Grantville Police Department responded to the scene after Richard Hawk, the Coweta County Coroner and the son of the Tommy Hawk and Evelyn and the father of Luke, found all three deceased.
Approximately 40 weapons and the camera DVR were taken from the scene which led to the GBI and ATF being called in, along with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
“Let’s keep Richard Hawk and Family in our prayers,” the department said.
Anyone having driven by the shooting range during the time frame of 5:30-6:30 PM that may have seen vehicles – other than a white Ford dually truck and a black Ford expedition – are asked to contact the police department.
The department ask you to please share so maybe someone will remember seeing something to assist with the investigation.
