Multiple crashes on Interstate 85 in Opelika, Auburn this morning
Multiple crashes are causing massive delays on Interstate 85 southbound in the Opelika and Auburn jurisdictions.
The first crash occurred overnight involving an overturned tractor trailer on I-85 southbound at Exit 57. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 51 for at least one hour. Please use caution in the area
The second crash occurred on Interstate 85 southbound near mile marker 57 between two vehicles. The Exit 58 Southbound Entrance Ramp is currently closed. Traffic along I-85 S is backed up for several miles starting before Exit 58. Please use caution and plan an alternate route. Police, Fire, and EMS units are on scene.
