Three people rescued from Chattahoochee River waters in Columbus
Three people are alive and safe after they were stuck standing on the rocks in the waters of the Chattahoochee River Saturday afternoon.
The three people were saved by members of the Columbus Fire and EMS Department and Whitewater Express near the area past the 14th Street pedestrian bridge in front of Hotel Indigo. It is unknown what the group of people were doing on the rocks and if they had life jackets on. A video sent in from a viewer appears to show a dog as well being saved by members of the department.
