Man deceased in fatal Friday accident on Macon Road in Columbus identified
A Filipino man has been identified as the person pronounced deceased in a fatal wreck on Friday in Columbus.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed 64-year-old Diego Ramos was pronounced deceased at 2:20 PM by a physician at Piedmont Columbus Regional. Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Allison was called to the hospital. Ramos, was the driver of a Jeep SUV, involved in the two-vehicle motor vehicle accident which occurred on April 29th, 2022 at Macon Road and Jenkins Road.
Columbus Police Motor Squad is currently investigating and the next of kin has been notified as the deceased is in Decatur for an autopsy.
