Columbus man dies nearly 2 months after shooting on Forrest Road
A Columbus man has died nearly two months after a shooting on the east side of the city.
The man was shot while driving his vehicle on Forrest Road at Urban Avenue on March 17th.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms 26-year-old Brandon Jones was pronounced deceased at 4:35 PM today at Piedmont Columbus Regional Intensive Care Unit. Jones will be going up for an autopsy in Decatur.
Columbus Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating the case.
