Power outages affect customers across West Georgia, East Alabama
A busy time for law enforcement, dispatchers, fire fighters/medics, and especially power crews as a storm with damaging winds moved through the Chattahoochee Valley.
Georgia Power has confirmed the following information through their power outage map:
1,479 customers are without power in the area of Double Churches Road near I-185.
55 customers are without power on Sharmel Lane
2,035 customers are without power between W Britt David Road, Airport Thruway, Armour Road, and Miller Road.
166 customers are without power in the area of 18th Street and Rosemont Drive.
28 customers are without power on Dozier Street.
87 customers are without power in area of Fairview Avenue and Northgate Drive
241 customers are without power in area of Primrose Drive, King Arthur Place, and Pickering Drive
62 customers are without power in area of Rockdale Drive and Meadowcliff Drive.
10 customers are without power in area of Anne Street and Fairway Avenue
92 customers are without power in area of Blueridge Drive and Valleybrook Road
1,457 customers are without power in area of St. Mary’s Road, I-185 NB, Dogwood Drive, Steam Mill Road, and Wickham Drive.
18 customers are without power in area of E Lindsay Drive.
1,105 customers are without power in area of N Lumpkin Road, Andrews Road, Cusseta Road, and Springfield Avenue.
182 customers are without power in area of Davis Elementary School near Shepherd Drive.
26 customers are without power in area of Adair Avenue.
Alabama Power has confirmed the following information through their power outage map:
136 customers are without power in area of Lee Road 112 between Lee Road 856 and Moores Mill Road.
275 customers are without power in area of East Alabama Motor Speedway and Woodland Drive.
15 customers are without power in area of Stringfellow Drive.
40 customers are without power in area of 8th Street, 33rd Avenue, and Wright Road.
57 customers are without power in area of Ingersol Court, 17th Court, and 18th Avenue.
39 customers are without power in area of Russell County Public Library.
22 customers are without power in area of Sawgrass Lane.
316 customers are without power in area of 6th Avenue/Court and S Railroad.
73 customers are without power in area of Broad St Extension to Brickyard Road.
Please drive safe and treat any traffic lights that are out as a 4-way Stop.
