Multiple agencies search for pursuit suspect on wooded Auburn road
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Auburn Public Safety, and Lee County Sheriff’s Office began searching for a pursuit suspect early Wednesday afternoon on a wooded road west of Auburn.
The pursuit by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency was terminated on Lee Road 56, also known as Wimberly Road, when the driver, who is unidentified, fled from the vehicle into a wooded area. Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones confirmed their office assisted in the search by using one of their K-9 units.
He also confirmed to CNAW2NEWS.COM that the driver was not located in the search.
