Emergency responders are on the scene of a major accident on U.S. Highway 165 near the Corner Store IV in Phenix City.
At least three vehicles were involved, including a Russell County Sheriff Office patrol car and two other vehicles. At least one person has been pronounced deceased on scene. The deputy is alive.
