One hospitalized, another missing after drowning incident on West Point Lake
Troup County first responders and law enforcement agencies are on the scene of a drowning incident on West Point Lake Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the area of Upper Glass Bridge Road in the county. An adult was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in unknown condition. Another person, possibly a juvenile, is missing and a search in the lake is underway.
Other area departments are sending aid to search for the missing person.
