US HWY 431 shut down following serious crash in Russell County
Pittsview Volunteer Fire Department along with several other agencies are on the scene of a serious crash Sunday afternoon.
The crash has occurred on U.S. Highway 431 South at Watermelon Creek. A medical helicopter is reportedly responding to the scene.
ALEA radio traffic has reported a possible motorcycle involved. Both northbound and southbound lanes are blocked. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
