Rosehill Seafood closing for good, restaurant’s president confirms to CNAW2News
A popular Columbus seafood restaurant is closing its doors for good, the president of the restaurant has confirmed to CNAW2News.
The rumor mill began Saturday night when reports of Rosehill Seafood, located on Hamilton Road, closing its doors surfaced on social media. Sunday afternoon, in a phone call to a CNAW2News reporter, the restaurant’s president, Jeff Lunsford, confirmed the restaurant was closing as of Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Lunsford told our reporter the restaurant, who has been opened for lunch and dinner since 1976, since COVID-19, it has been difficult to maintain a full staff, and this is the major reason that he felt he could not continue the restaurant’s operation.
Lunsford has been working at the seafood restaurant since he was eight years old with his dad.
