Columbus Fire and EMS and Police are on the scene of a multi-car fire Saturday afternoon.

CNAW2News.com began receiving word of the fire around 5:05 P.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The fire is taking place at a tow lot in the 700 block of Fifth Street, off of Sixth Avenue.

Columbus Fire and EMS Deputy Chief Daniel Macon confirmed five fire departments units and fourteen firefighters are on the scene.

Smoke from the fire could be seen from nearly 10 miles away. Fire investigators are on scene and an investigation is underway.
