Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County EMA, Tallapoosa County EMA, Alex City Fire and Rescue, Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, East Alabama Fire District, EAMC ETS, and Beulah Fire – Rescue are on the scene of a possible drowning on Lake Harding.

Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones confirms that a search from the Long Bridge to the Railroad Trestle is underway with several rescue boats. Authorities were called to Crepe Myrtle Commons which is a condominium off of Lake Harding where the incident occurred at.
