The National Travel Safety Board is investigating a small airplane crash, which occurred Wednesday in Eufaula.

Eufaula police say they located the crash site at the north end of the runway at Eufaula Municipal Airport after receiving a call on February 1, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. The crash involved a Piper PA-24 airplane, the NTSB said on social media.

Nathan O’Donnell, 35, of Enterprise was found deceased among the wreckage. The incident is currently under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
