A heavy law enforcement presence is underway Saturday evening in Phenix City.

The presence is taking place at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Highway 80. Phenix City Fire and Rescue was on scene. CARE Ambulance transported one person to an area hospital.

Bystanders told CNAW2News.com a possible assault occurred at the market, but that information has not been confirmed by law enforcement. This remains a developing story.
