Several first responder crews are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash in Macon County.

The crash, which involved two vehicles, occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 85 near the 43 mile marker, in Macon County. At least two injuries were reported, one of which was very critical and needing a medical helicopter for transport.

The northbound lanes are currently blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time.
