Man killed at Columbus liquor store is first homicide of the year

Columbus police are investigating the first homicide of the year.

The homicide occurred at 5120 Warm Springs Road at the Kick N Chicken liquor store around 8 P.M. on Monday, January 20, 2025.

28-year-old Quadarius Reynolds was stabbed and taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional where he was pronounced deceased.

Reynolds will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations for a postmortem examination. This is the first homicide for the city in Columbus so far in 2025.
