Auburn Police, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, have arrested a man in connection to an investigation into child sex abuse material.

Auburn Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of Starr Court on February 12, 2025, which led to the arrest of the man, identified as 48-year-old Jacob Parker. During the search, illegal images, as defined by Alabama state law 13A-12-192(b), were recovered.
“Jacob Parker was identified as the suspect associated with the illegal images,” Auburn police said.
After further investigation, Parker was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of child sex abuse material.
“This investigation is ongoing with the potential of additional charges,” police added. Parker was transported to the Lee County Jail and held without bond pending further judicial review.
