Ladonia Volunteer Fire Department firefighters are on the scene of a vehicle fire Thursday afternoon.

The fire is taking place near Ramsey Road on U.S. Highway 80 West in the Ladonia community of Russell County. A nearby structure and some vehicles were in danger, but firefighters were able to extinguish before it went uncontrolled.

No injuries have been reported.
