A Columbus teen has been killed in a shooting Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting in the 1000 block of Vineville Street between the North Highland and Beallwood neighborhood of the city on May 6, 2025.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says 17-year-old David Escobar was pronounced deceased on scene at 6:13 P.M.
Escobar’s family was notified on scene by coroner officials. Police have confirmed two arrests have been made and the Violent Crimes investigators have taken the lead in the investigation.
