AMBER ALERT issued statewide after 5-year-old boy taken in Decatur, GA

An AMBER Alert has been activated statewide in Georgia after a DeKalb County five-year-old was abducted.

Yasir Felton-Smith, 5, was last seen wearing no shirt, black sweatpants with green stripes, and black Nike slides. Felton-Smith has brown eyes with black hair low cut hair style.

He was last seen with Tia Lache Smith, 23, who was last known to be wearing a dark sweat shirt and blue jeans with brown eyes and black hair with braids. Smith’s photo is not available.

They were last seen in a silver 2013 Dodge Avenger bearing Georgia license plate of SFE9628.

Authorities say the child is believed to be in extreme danger. Anyone with information is asked to contact the DeKalb County Police Department at 404-641-1809.
